Data Retention Policy

This Data Retention Policy explains how long HOADispute.com retains different types of data, why we retain it, and what happens when data is deleted. We retain data only as long as necessary to provide the service and meet legal obligations.

Account Deletion

When you delete your account, we begin the deletion process immediately. Your data is fully purged within 30 days. During this 30-day window, you may contact us to recover your account if the deletion was accidental.

Payment records are retained for 7 years as required by tax and accounting regulations, even after account deletion. These records contain only transaction data (amount, date, product) and not your dispute content.

Backups

We maintain encrypted database backups for disaster recovery purposes. Backups are retained for up to 30 days. When your data is deleted from the primary database, it will be purged from backups within 30 days as backups cycle out.

Data Requests

You may request a copy of your data or request deletion at any time by contacting us at privacy@hoadispute.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Data export requests will be fulfilled in a machine-readable format (JSON or CSV) within 30 days of the request.
